'Transcendent' Co-Prod in Union (Music Album)

A full-scope audiovisual identity for ain rei's album Transcendent, translating its genre-free, transcendence-driven sound into natural, light-based visuals. Deliverables included animated concepts, graphic elements, posters, and a promo video with original sound design.

Transcendent is an auditory journey steeped in the leitmotif of transcendence—unbound by genre, a pure act of seeking. It is a search for a fresh perspective on harmony and compositional structure; transcendence achieved through the balance between an expressionist, avant-garde approach and the traditions of contemporary European music. At the heart of the narrative lies the author himself—a persona, a character navigating his own life path in tandem with this very quest. The project's visual language was crafted to convey the atmosphere and philosophy of the album. Working from the creative brief for the promotional materials, and guided by their own resonant interpretation, the Studio developed a complete visual identity and all accompanying assets. EXECUTION: Our goal was to translate the abstract mood of the release into visuals without imposing fixed associations. We chose to work with natural phenomena, light refraction effects, and silhouettes that morph in response to sound. We produced a wide range of animated visual elements, natural motifs that shape the artist's visual identity, as well as a promo video featuring original sound design—capturing the overarching mood of the entire album.
